Firstly, woohoo! Designed and uploaded a custom header and altered the colour scheme. Hopefully a pretty looking blog will inspire me to actually keep up this blogging business!
My aim really is to blog once a week, or more if I have stuff to talk about!
Anyway, first project upload!
So this is my project for A2 Graphic Communication.This years theme is: Growth and Evolution.
For the illustration, my inspiration was a combination of Jenny Saville and Agnes Cecil; for the layout, my inspiration was/isVogue and Yves Saint Laurent. My response to the theme of Growth and Evolution is to explore how we have evolved from animals (sorry if you disagree with the evolution therory) yet we use them as ingredients within our cosmetics. I will be creating a VEGAN cosmetic brand promoting the use of plant source materials. Thus my outcomes will be: logo design, packaging and label design, poster design, billboard design and also a double page magazine spread (advertising campaign) which is what you will see in the following images.
